Hoopful of Pink

  • Machine embroidery over layered fabrics and monoprinted paper. Handstitched hoops.

    Photography – Jonathan Dayman

'Hoopful of pink' is about pattern, as in my other work but also considers the choreographers use of time. The piece is colour blocked to divide the area as a choreographer divides the length of the performance with different themes or intervals. There is an undercurrent of a more complex structure in the piece.
