Chalklands series

I am fascinated by the patterns in our land and geology and the maps that record the surface I am walking through.

My ‘Chalklands’ series of work is about chalk landscapes and the white patterns left in the ground by millennia of geology and the endeavour of mankind. They show a God’s eye view of my fantasy maps with birds soaring between the viewpoint and the ground.
