‘… in case I forget’ Blue (2013)
Long straight stitches on painted paper.
This larger piece was at the limit of the size I could stitch on paper without tearing it. I painted the surface with a brush that I had made with a long stick so that my whole body movement contributed to the painting. There was only so much control I could exert which I really enjoyed.
