Land marks series

I am fascinated by the patterns in our land and geology, but do not want to make pictures of landscape views, nature does this far better than I ever could!

So, in my ‘Landmarks’ series I have explored the colours, shapes and textures of landscape and used them to make work about the marks that pattern our land. I have used the same hand stitches and darning throughout the series, but ground fabrics vary
